1931 Plymouth, model 30U

From the first models launched by Plymouth, from Chrysler group, our model derived from the evolution of the U model (1929-1930).

Presented to the public on May 10, 1930, in the midst of the financial crisis, the 30U model was considered a transition model, until the launch of the PA model, having been produced between 1930 and 1931, in a continuous production of 14 months.

The 30U model looked like the same car from 1929; however, it featured a new chassis, a completely new engine with new displacement and power, a wider radiator and, most importantly, an all-steel body.

Its trademark, which distinguished it from its predecessor model, was the external horn, in the shape of a pancake, as well as the radiator grille, chromed and wider than that of the U model.

Our model, with a marron base color, contrasts with the black of the fenders and the bronze-striped decorative strip.
