In the immediate postwar years, the public was hungry for new cars and Chevrolet was looking to build as many vehicles as possible. Hence, there were no major changes to the first post-war models.
The Chevrolet Fleetmaster was the car that made the transition to a new automotive world, which emerged in the 50s, having been a model produced between 1946 and 1948, with a new look and a completely renovated engine.
The Fleetmaster line was Chevrolet's mid-range trim level. Differences from the 1947 model (series 2100 EK) to the 1946 model were mainly expressed in the exterior gloss, upholstery coverings and the new radiator grille, with a more horizontal theme.
About 150,000 Fleetmasters were built in 1946 and well over 200,000 in each of the next two years as business grew for Chevy and for United States as a whole.
Our model, with a pearl white exterior, has spacious and sober interiors, lined in brown and grey.
With a total capacity of 4 people, it is the perfect car for recreations of the era or for the most diverse types of events, be they weddings, sightseeing tours, cinema or other social events.
